Prices are valid from January to December 2026 when booked before 31st December 2025 ONLY.

Deposit and Prepayment
To confirm a provisional reservation, we require a 30% non-refundable deposit at the time of booking. Once this deposit has been received, your booking is confirmed by the company and recognises that you have agreed to our terms and conditions. Full prepayment is required in advance, six weeks prior to your arrival. Should you wish to pay amounts towards the balance periodically, this is also acceptable.
Final details are required six weeks prior to your arrival.
Should there be an outstanding balance at the end of your stay, this should be settled before you depart the venue or by providing us with debit/credit card details, enabling us to charge the balance.
Cancellation
Should you have to cancel your booking, the initial deposit is non-refundable. Please see below for
cancellation fees.
• More than 60 days, 30% of booking costs
• 30 – 60 days 75% of booking costs
• Less than 30 days: 100% of booking costs
Further Terms and Conditions
Access
Penrhiw Priory is a historical building. Retreats Group Ltd (operator of Penrhiw Priory) reserves the right to access the venue daily to inspect the property and its contents. On some occasions, the venue will have a Night Porter on duty from 7.30 pm to 7.30 am. On some occasions, our Maintenance and Grounds Team may need to work in the buildings and gardens.
Accessibility
Penrhiw Priory are not suitable for guests with walking difficulties.
Accommodation
All luxury en-suite bedrooms are furnished to the 5-star Guest Accommodation standard.
Facilities include a telephone, Wi-Fi, radio, TV, tea-making facilities and a coffee maker, towels, robes and slippers, an iron and ironing board, a mini fridge, a hairdryer, and luxury bathroom amenities.
For smaller groups, staying on a discounted rate, bedrooms will need to be allocated in advance, in the main house, and those not in use will be locked.
Hen and Stag parties will not be accepted.
Amenities
One set of tea bags, coffee pods, drinking chocolate, sugar, and milk is provided in each room upon arrival. Guests are required to provide their own for the rest of their stay.
Check in/out times
Check-in is available between 4 pm and 7 pm.
Please note that we do not offer late check-ins, but earlier arrivals can be requested.
Check-out time is by 10 am. £100 per hour, per room charges will apply for late check-outs, as we trust you will understand that we have limited time to prepare Penrhiw Priory for the next group of guests.
Fireworks
Fireworks are not permitted at any time.
Food Offer
Penrhiw Priory has a full domestic kitchen. If you wish to engage an external supplier/caterer, this must be approved by the Penrhiw Priory management.
Information Required
To confirm your booking, we require the information requested in the Booking Form at the time of your enquiry.
Linen
One set of sheets, pillow cases, duvet covers, slippers, robes and towels are provided for the whole length of the stay up to 7 days. If longer than 7 days, a linen change will be provided on day 7.
Maximum Number of Guests
Our maximum numbers of guests are listed above. This number must be adhered to as we cannot contravene fire regulations and health and safety guidelines.
Music/Entertainment
Any live music or entertainment must be acoustic only.
Noise Policy
To respect our neighbours, including close-by farms and their animals, we require guests to keep noise levels to a low level at Roch Castle and Penrhiw Priory.
No Smoking Policy
Penrhiw Priory and the grounds are a strictly non-smoking venue.
Parking
Parking is available for up to 8 cars at Penrhiw Priory (one per room).
One charger is available for electric vehicles.
Pets
Penrhiw Priory is a hypoallergenic venue; therefore, we are unable to accept pets, and they cannot be left in vehicles overnight.
Your Property
The Management of Penrhiw Priory will not accept liability in respect of any loss or damage to articles brought into the property, including vehicles parked within the grounds.
Venue
The organiser is responsible for the conduct of your guests whilst on Penrhiw Priory’s premises. You will also be held liable for any wilful damage to hotel property and contents. Penrhiw Priory reserve the right to refuse admission
